  • Bhakti Nova school offers a devotional and inspiring training for those who want to learn and teach yoga from a heart centered perspective.
  • Deeply rooted in Bhakti and traditional Hatha Yoga, the teachings and techniques offered in this training are of embodied and sacrred wisdom; spiritual and physical alignment; pratical and applicable to one's daily life.

  • Nurturing and honoring the feminine aspects of yoga, Bhakti Nova school mission is to support the awakening of inner strenght, devotional heart and service to the world.

  • I want my yoga students to feel that their yoga sadhana transformed their lives and opened their hearts to more Divine Love and to more Spiritual Light for themselves, sprinkling the path of their lives with many auspiciousness signs. And I hope that this special awakening will infuse their lives with a deeper purpose, to positively affect their human relations and to empower them to bring more devotional service to the world.” - Nubia Teixeira, Bhakti Nova school founder.

  • "Nurture yourself, your family, your community, and the planet."

Bhakti Nova Yoga’s essential philosophies are the simple teachings of the Yoga of Devotion (Bhakti Yoga) and the Yoga of Service (Karma Yoga). Inspired by yogic philosophy, Bhakti Nova School turned some essential yogic teachings into an artistic expression of inspiring  poetry and direct prayer with the intention to awaken and guide the practitioners to activate devotion-force that propel us to become better human beings and bring more goodness and light to our lives and to our world.
Bhakti Nova Yoga’s essential physical structure are the aligning poses of Hatha Yoga, the sacred geometrical shapes of Odissi Dance, and the activating keys of the mudras of the Natya Shastras and of the tantric yogas.  Perceiving the physical body as the Bindu or the focal point of personal and spiritual development, Bhakti Nova Poses, Flows, Ritual and techniques are used to bring spiritual alignment and are target to support with the embodiment of the qualities of firmness, strength, purification, dedication, love, truth, purity, faith and service.
Bhakti Nova will inspire those who are new to yoga, and as well as advanced practitioners and yoga teachers, motivating them to bring more embodied Bhakti to their Yoga flows
