Reviews

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

The training cultivated an awareness and depth in me as a person while providing me with practical teaching methods and confidence of how to write a sequence for a yoga class and teach a class with my personality and charisma.

The Colorado School of Yoga YTT program is rooted in the philosophies and traditions of yoga but also in anatomical science and the practicalities of the modern world. There is an emphasis on creating a sensible and sustainable practice, where every asana is carefully considered and essential to the objective of the class. You are taught to sequence classes with intelligence and appropriate energy in order to guide your students toward an experience of transcending their individual conditioned consciousness. On top of that Gina and Tracey are a blast to be around and to learn from. Their knowledge and experience is invaluable. And the joy they bring to their teaching is contagious. I can’t recommend this school enough! It was truly a life changing experience.

Gina (and Tracey) are fantastic teachers and concentrate not only on preparing us to bring yoga to others via classes/studios, but the importance of living your yoga everyday in every action.

My experience with Colorado School of Yoga exceeded my expectations. Gina Caputo and Tracey Cregg-Garcia are extremely knowledgeable and authentic to the roots of yoga. This training was beneficial to developing my skills as a yoga teacher and as a human.

This training through the Colorado School of Yoga was more than I could have asked for in a 200 hour. I felt Julia and Gina not only knew the knowledge, but were about to synthesize and share it in an authentic and practical way. They made learning challenging yet fun and worth all of the effort. I miss showing up to Mountain Soul every other weekend and practicing with my new family. <3

Gina's training is unparalleled. Her guidance as a teacher, mentor and friend has impacted my career immensely throughout the last few years and I attribute much of my success as a professional yoga teacher to her programs. I am immensely grateful for Gina and I am so proud to be a part of the Colorado School of Yoga collective.

I did a lot of research on 200-hour teacher trainings before I signed up for this one and I am so thankful I selected the Colorado School of Yoga program. I would recommend this program to anyone looking for a comprehensive, thoughtful, challenging, and empowering training. I appreciated that each element of the training felt balanced; offering foundational knowledge, honest discussion, and consistent and supportive opportunities to practically apply what you are learning.
