together with my husband ekkehard hager i´ve been teaching yoga for over 15 years. as we both are also experienced teachers of spiraldynamik- an anatomical concept of 3 dimensional human locomotion coordination- since the year 2000, we have been teaching a yoga style that we created by bringing in and combining both: our experience as iyengar yoga teachers and our experience as teachers of spiraldynamik. this lead us to creating and evolving and developping our own style, that is also the base for the current syllabus for our yoga teacher training 200+ that integrates a complete spiraldynamik training into the 200+ hours teacher training. as the success of this concept was so huge, we decided to found the spiraldynamik center for yoga and bodymind in 2011, at the same time giving our center a new home in bergheim/ salzburg. the successful path was continued, it became more and more interesting, to create our own yoga teacher training. after cooperating with another school in the first year we decided to do our very own yoga teacher training starting in 2013. our Spiraldynamik Center für Yoga and Bodymind was registered as a RYS in june 2013. as people really liked our style and continued to ask for more, we decided to move to a bigger studio in january 2014, situated on the river of salzach, in the heart of the city of salzburg, offering a powerful sight on the salzburg mountains, giving space on 220 m2 in 2 studios for development on many levels and a 600 m2 garden right in front of the studio, that can be used to practise outside in summertime. may we be allowed to continue to live our dreams and convictions, with wide open hearts, offering our knowledge to people who want to learn from us and share and accompany our way, not only as students, but very often also as friends.

Reviews

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.
