Reviews

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

The Roots to Wings Yoga Teacher Training provided a well rounded and wonderfully balanced foundation of yoga asana, philosophy, yoga anatomy education, and touched on so much more. But, the teaching method, support, openness and engagement felt from Tristina and Michael is what resonated deeply with me. Their ability to guide, listen, and whole heartedly provide this education was remarkable and deeply authentic. It was an honor to start my learning as a teacher with Roots to Wings, and though I have a life long journey of learning in front of me, I feel grounded, stable, and grateful for the foundation they provided.

This teacher training was of the highest quality. The instructors were exceptionally well prepared and thoroughly knew the topics they taught. The materials they presented were easy to understand and relevant to our lectures and discussion. The methods they used to teach were varied and made it easier to learn, practice, and integrate. I highly recommend Roots to Wings (Tristina and Michael) for their immersion teacher training. They met the individual needs of each participant and are knowledgeable, committed to their yoga, and most of all - really warm and caring people.

The 200 hour teacher training program with RTW was far beyond my expectations. Tristina and Michael are professional, knowledgeable and current with the fast evolving yoga community. They have fine tuned their own individual expertise and together bring a diverse, intellectual and spiritual program that is compassionate and inspiring. They led our class in a masterful balance of student abilities, strength and trajectory.

Tristina and Michael are a perfect pair to instruct these trainings. They exemplify yoga in the monern-day world and taught us all how to carry the practice throughout our day. They put so much love, attention, effort and heart into designing this program which felt seamless from start to end. The training was a wonderful balance of learning and practicing the philosophy/spiritual teachings of yoga and the asanas. I would highly recommend Roots to Wings for a 200 hour YTT! Again and again!

RTW yoga teacher training was a phenomenal experience. The training dug deep into the physical practice as well as the history and philosophy of yoga and was prepared in a very professional manner. I cannot recommend this training enough. The experience was too large for words. I feel completely prepared to go teach full time and bring a sense of compassion and community to the people I come in contact with.

Roots to Wings Yoga Teacher training was a profound experience. The curriculum is very well put together and organized in a way that successfully educates and intrigues each student. The community and in depth work creates a space where everyone can learn and grow. I cannot recommend this training enough whether you want to be a teacher or just further your own practice. This training was truly a once in a lifetime experience and I am honored to have been involved. Words are not enough, you must experience it yourself!
