As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.
Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.
By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

General Comments
Om Shanti Om yoga training school fell short of its reputation, especially during the September 2023 YTT 200hrs course. Despite glossy promises in their social media posts, the reality was disappointing. The owner's failure to ensure a safe environment, despite assurances of tranquillity, led to constant disruptions from ongoing construction in Tapovan. The original spirit of the school seems to have been sacrificed for profit, evident in the owner's neglect and denial of our pleas for help. Teachers, commendably professional amid the chaos, couldn't overcome the unsuitable surroundings. The course, once in the serene Ram Jhula, suffered in Tapovan due to relentless unbearable noise, dust, and a generally unfit atmosphere. Attempts to communicate with the owner, who was busy teaching in Russia instead of being with us in Rishikesh, were met with denial and eventual silence, leaving us without the support promised. Ultimately, the school's recent shift towards cost savings resulted in an overall poor experience, tarnishing its once-great reputation. It's disheartening to witness the decline from a previously excellent institution.
