About Marie-Laure Pandya

My yoga journey began in 2012, taking me on a transformative path through India, Thailand, Bali, Costa Rica, Singapore, and London. In 2023, after years as a yoga student, I completed my yoga teacher training at a classical Yoga Teacher Training Ashram in Rishikesh, India, founded in 1999 by the world-renowned Swami Yogananda Maharaj Ji, who reached Maha Samadhi at the age of 106. In London, I was privileged to be guided by Michael Saunders, a direct disciple of B.K.S. Iyengar and Mary Stewart, deepening my practice and understanding of yoga’s profound essence.

My fascination with the body’s ability to heal and the mind’s potential for growth led me to become a certified Nutritional Therapist specialising in juicing and detox. I further expanded my expertise as a Health and Wellness Coach, Reiki Master, and Mindfulness Practitioner. Additionally, I studied Mental Health First Aid and Mental Health Advocacy in the Workplace, recognising the intricate connection between our physical and mental well-being.

Having spent 20 years in a high-pressure corporate career, I understand the stress many people face. Long hours, constant business travel, and relentless demands led me to my own struggles with anxiety and sleep disorders. This personal experience fuels my dedication to helping others overcome similar challenges. I know first-hand the toll anxiety, burnout, and sleep problems can take and am passionate about guiding others toward physical and mental health improvements.

My approach to yoga integrates my extensive wellness knowledge to create a holistic healing experience that transcends the Asanas. My classes aim to cultivate mindfulness and well-being that go beyond the mat, fostering stronger, leaner, and more flexible bodies, balanced and peaceful minds, and a greater sense of joy and purpose. Through Hatha yoga, we take the time to explore the pose, learning proper alignment to enhance strength, mobility, and flexibility.
