Yoga In My School 

  • Empowers parents, educators and health care professionals to confidently share kid friendly yoga and mindfulness skills so children can find calm, reduce stress and develop a positive self-image.

During the four weekend modules you'll learn how to teach youth aged 2-17 essential yoga and mindfulness skills to help them be peaceful, positive and productive. 

Teaching Yoga to Kids Level 1 - during this foundational module you'll learn the essential skills for teaching yoga to kids. Includes the textbook Once Upon a Pose by Donna Freeman and a workshop manual

Teaching Yoga to Kids Level 2 - elevate your skills and extend your reach to includes chakras, mudra, yoga in schools and the business of kids yoga. Includes workshop manual plus Yoga Games Galore.

Teaching Teens Yoga - discover how to teach with grace and authenticity the age group that needs yoga skills most. Includes a workshop manual and Pranayama for Kids and Teens.

Yoga for Preschoolers and Special Needs - learn how to teach the youngest yogis as well as those with emotional and mental challenges techniques to control impulsivity and self-regulate. Includes a workshop manual plus Yoga for Literacy resources.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.
