Located in the glorious foothills of Mont Blanc, Mariza Yoga offers 200hr Yoga Alliance accredited teacher training courses in Vinyasa Yoga

Morning practice is a Mysore style class, where each student follows their own personalised practice. This is similar to, but not the same as the Mysore Ashtanga sequence. The practice is a strong flow/vinyasa - the sequence is my own and is the result of my past 10 years of learning.

Evening practice is a led class and will have a different theme each day, so could be;
hip openers, arm balances, twists, seated poses, restorative yoga, focus on sun salutations or whatever else we need as a group.

Both mornings and afternoons will have time for classroom learning on a wide range of topics such as the yoga sutras, the origins of yoga, chakras, gunas and ayurveda.

We will be inviting guest teachers each Friday to run workshops for the students. For the September 2015 course we have already confirmed;
An introduction to touch and massage techniques
An introduction to Mindfulness
An introduction to parterwork and acro yoga.

Please email me for further info or to be put in touch with past students.

Reviews

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.
