Baptiste Power Yoga Nashville (previously emPower School of Yoga) is an accredited power yoga teacher training program recognized by Yoga Alliance. We offer 200-hour and 300-hour teacher training programs, workshops, and other courses.  Our curriculum is holistically designed to provide our students with the tools and experience necessary to expand their power yoga practice, confidently teach a power yoga sequence in the Baptiste style, and also learn how to step into their own personal greatness.

Reviews

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

BPYN is an incredible training school. I graduated with a stronger practice and all the tools I needed to begin teaching with confidence and humility. I especially love how much we practiced and dove into personal inquiry throughout training. It’s impossible to be strong as a teacher without either. Liz and Chris are truly committed to empowering new teachers.

I greatly enjoyed the training. I felt very prepared to walk into a class and teach even before graduating. My only grievance is I would have liked more instruction on how to properly construct a class outside of the Journey Into Power sequence, though I understand why this was not a section in the training. However, even with this one grievance, I strongly recommend this training course if you are interested!

Baptiste Power Yoga Nashville is a transformative training experience that I highly recommend to anyone who wants to deepen their practice and become more insightful. The training not only provided the foundation for me to feel confident as a yoga teacher, but more importantly, I feel like it made me a better therapist and human. The blend of inquiry/self-assessment work, coupled with the practice, principles, and history of yoga led to an enriching learning experience. I am beyond grateful for this program and the opportunities that it offers this community.

My experience with BPYN was unforgettable. I loved every moment of it. Not only did I learn to instruct, but I learned to be a better practitioner and person.
