Long Beach School of Yoga (LBSOY) is dedicated to bringing authentic Yoga & Ayurveda teachings to the Southern California, Los Angeles and Orange County areas (and now the world via the Internet!).

The founder Ram Bhakt has studied yoga internationally and seeks to share an inclusive and flexible approach that is safe and true to classical yoga teachings. Our school is a great community to be a part of and always growing.

Teacher Training sessions are held on the California State University Long Beach campus (and online) as well as specialty pop-up workshops including topics such as pranayama, meditation, Ayurveda and laughter yoga.

Reviews

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

Exceptional online training program. I would definitely recommend this training anyone who not only wants to become a teacher, but who wants to be taught by someone who has lived what they teach.

I feel that Ram did an incredible job in transitioning from in-person to virtual during the COVID 19 pandemic. Although the shut down threatened to post-pone our training, Ram quickly adapted the lessons to be done virtually.
