Reviews

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

I had an excellent experience with YogaMedCo Method with Dr. Suzie Carmack. The training was very informative and presented in a way that made sense and was extremely interesting. Her focus on student safety priority was something I wanted included in my training too.

The YogaMedCo program and Dr. Carmack are absolutely amazing!! Her approach applies yogic themes and philosophies — the chakras and koshas — to design yoga sequences and explore within ourselves to achieve overall positive health and well-being in our modern lives. Dr. C is extremely knowledgeable, well-informed, genuine and engaging. I plan to take more of her trainings as I continue my journey toward yoga therapy.

Dr. Carmack has created a much needed YogaMedCo method for modern healthcare. The most valuable aspect of this training was the immediate applicability to bringing adaptive Yoga into clinical settings. My boss is thrilled with my ability to simultaneously offer three levels of modifications to suit all levels of capability. Attendees show up at my classes in hospitals and clinics with various chronic conditions, diseases and disabilities. They all benefit, at the same time, whether in a wheelchair or wanting a sweaty workout, or any place in between.

This was my second training with YogaMedCo (I also trained in Integrative Well-Being Coaching), and both trainings were transformative experiences through which I learned so much about the content, and so much about myself. Dr. Carmack is an extremely knowledgeable and effective instructor, and I’m honored to have studied under her. The community she co-creates with each cohort is a safe space for learning and sharing. I couldn’t recommend YogaMedCo more highly.
