Reviews

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

The RYT-200 Training at Etowah Valley Yoga was a wonderful experience. Our instructors truly taught us the skills to teach yoga while also deepening our understanding of the principles of yoga. I will forever be grateful for my experience in this program.

EVY has a thorough program focused on safety and alignment. I appreciate the detail provided by our instructors and feel that with my previous knowledge I've been able to expand my scope to safely share with others.

Etowah Valley Yoga helped me build a quality foundation in teaching alignment based yoga. Lisa Siniard was our Yoga Mama. Her experience and passion for yoga shine! She made many resources available to scratch all the surfaces of yoga. I experienced not only learning asanas, pranayama, and meditation techniques, but also opportunities to dive into philosophy, anatomy, how to keep students safe, and create a space where yoga is accessible to everyone with the use of props and careful attention to cues. We participated in fun workshops such as Sanskrit, Mudras, and Ayurvedic Studies. Juicy stuff! The staff here is always learning and supportive in aiding new students to be their best. The studio is warm, lovely, and inviting (smells divine - take a big inhale!), offering a variety of classes at various times. With 2 studios, one average temperature and the other hot, there is something for everyone here. It was so wonderful to experience so many classes from different teachers. There is a family atmosphere in Cartersville, GA. I am so grateful to have started my teaching journey here and hope to continue learning from all of the staff and students here.

I really enjoyed my experience in Yoga Teacher Training at Etowah Valley Yoga. I liked the scheduling with the training spread out over 9 months. I felt it gave me time to absorb the material and integrate it into my practice.
