Reviews

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

My experience with the Vancouver School of Healing Arts was transformative; I learned so much about the mind-body connection, the history and evolution of the practice, how to guide people on their own journey, and myself throughout my training. I have recommended their program to everyone who has expressed interest in becoming a yoga instructor or even a desire to deepen their own practice, and I will continue to do so indefinitely.

I really enjoyed my training at VSOHA. It went well beyond making me a better teacher and into helping me on my own healing journey through yoga. I felt it was a good mix of philosophy, anatomy, and movement. It left me feeling confident in myself and ready to apply my learning to the greater community.

I am looking back at my experience with the VSOHA with a heart full of gratitude. Diving deep into the teachings of yoga and holistic wellbeing has been extremely empowering. I can only recommend the school, every single instructor and the education that has been shared. It's been a beautiful and expansive journey not only on an educational but also personal level.

VSOHA is the best place to learn and practise yoga! The teachers are excellent, I can't put in words, it's like lighting a candle to the sun. God Bless them and the hard work they put in.

My time with VSOHA in their yoga teacher training program was amazing. All of the teachers and staff are so knowledgeable and supportive to each student. The content was delivered in a skillful way with time to integrate the lessons into our own practice and teachings. Highly recommend!

So grateful to have taken my 240 hour course here. It was so much more than I expected and the variety of teachers was so key in expanding my knowledge. The way that the ancient practice is honoured and taught, is how all trainings should be.
