As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.
Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.
By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

This training was perfect for me. They were completely supportive of me being a military family and helping me get my training hours without penalizing me for not having a conventional schedule. Yoga legacy teachers are also very supportive and guide you through the training and even after graduation are still available as mentors.

The Yoga Legacy instructors were extremely experienced and knowledgeable on the many aspects of the Yoga lifestyle. I appreciated how they incorporated lessons on diet, meditation, anatomy, trauma, breath work, and other important lessons that are more than just the poses in Yoga.

The quality of training that I received from Yoga Legacy was absolutely outstanding. The program itself was very thorough and I graduated feeling confident in my ability to lead others. The facilitators were all very knowledgeable and incredibly approachable. Not only that but as a military dependent I had funds to use through MyCAA and they made that whole process so easy! I would highly recommend them and look forward to working with them in the future for future trainings.

The yoga teacher training program caters to every individual wanting to learn more about yoga. Pat and Kaye are consummate professionals as yoga teachers and business women. As a military veteran and military spouse, I appreciate their program and its approval from the My Career Advancement Account Scholarship Program (MyCAA). This school allowed me to improve my life personally and professionally by earning a RYT200 certification. I am now able to share and apply the knowledge and experience I gained from Yoga Legacy everywhere I travel with my family. These women shared the gift of yoga without judgement. While this is a tenant of yoga, not all teachers create this learning environment of safety and growth. If you live in the nearby Fuquay-Varina area or even further away at Fort Bragg (like me), then know that this school is an opportunity to improve your life that should not be missed.

Yoga Legacy’s 300-hour advanced teacher training prepares its trainees to teach principles and techniques of yoga that are more advanced, and to teach with greater skill, than could reasonably be expected of an RYT 200.

As an experienced yoga teacher, the training I received during this 300 hour program was outstanding. Rather than repeating information learned in the 200 program we were presented with new material that expanded my knowledge of therapeutic essentials relating to yoga. The Yoga Legacy curriculum, training and training materials were very well organized and useful. These materials will be a valuable resource for me as I continue on my yoga journey. I really appreciated the flexibility to take the modules at my convenience rather than adhering to a strict schedule. It was invaluable to my family that I was able to take the training this way. Yoga Legacy is a fantastic school with a positive learning environment, I would highly recommended this program for any yoga teacher wanting to complete their advanced yoga teacher training.
