I have spent a good amount of time shopping for teacher training programs in NYC and Jersey area and ended up choosing Juluka for many reasons.1) They have a family-like environment. Throughout the program, they want to learn who you are as a person and want to build a long lasting relationship with you. 2) Both Mandy and Soo is very intelligent, passionate and experienced with yoga. They teach all aspects of yoga including asanas, meditations, lifestyle, little bit of science and biology, spirituality, teaching skills, anatomy, history and more with a professional tone. They make you feel safe and comfortable to ask any question and explore your curiosity. 3) They have been training teachers for a long time and thoughtfully designed the program. They do an amazing job building the yoga community filled with positivity and strong support system even after you graduate. They won't let any students graduate without feeling the great achievements and confidents in themselves as new teachers. Definitely no regrets but only love and care I get to grow since I have known Juluka. I have made wonderful friends thanks to the studio and if I have a chance, I will do all over again! Highly recommended.

Juluka made me not only a better yoga teacher but also a happier person. It's a studio for truly for everybody. The studio offers a beautiful experience for every student, teacher, beginners as well as experienced yogis. It’s all-inclusive and will challenge everybody in their physical and mental practice. The teacher program, as well as the classes, are well-rounded and include all aspects of yoga. A safe, challenging, and rewarding experience are how I would describe my experience. I met so many lovely people and always felt welcome and appreciated.

Mandy and Soo facilitate an incredible learning experience - ensuring that students are educated about the history and traditions of yoga, yoga philosophy, asana, all of the eight limbs, and how to create safe and enjoyable experiences for others. They truly embody and communicate how yoga is a well-established, specific tradition with a strong and detailed history, authoritative leaders and texts, and sets of guidelines, but it is also an incredible tool that meets people exactly where they are, encourages them to accept themselves there, and provides thoughtful steps to help anyone break through their own personal limits and understand their place in the world. Of all programs, my heart will always be here and I would recommend it to everyone!

I loved this program so much! I definitely feel Juluka prepared me to effectively teach a yoga class but I learned more than just that. Mandy and Soo were so supportive and helpful. I feel inspired and empowered to seek out more information and continue on this journey.

What a thoughtful, well-paced, and thorough training this 200 hour program has been. Full of insightful and learned mentors who have contributed in their areas of expertise (for chanting, the harmonium, chakras, anatomy, mudras, pranayama, and more), spearheaded by a phenomenal teacher of teachers Soo Yoon who excels not only in sharing her mastery of asana but in clearly articulating challenging philosophy, physical posture, and the pragmatics of teaching in an exciting and palatable manner. Our workshops on Ayurveda and history led by teacher owner Mandy Grant have provided welcome additional bursts of energy and momentum to inspire us on our own continued journeys as yogis and teachers. This 200 hour program has offered us a wide variety of education across a breadth of yogic topics, setting the stage for ongoing learning while equipping graduates with the necessary knowledge needed to teach today.

Juluka Yoga School is run my fantastic, energetic and knowledgeable yogis. The environment is extremely inclusive and the teachers all work to help you grow as a yogi by recognizing your strengths and guiding you to achievement in areas that have room for growth.

The training went beyond my expectations. I deepened my knowledge and learned more history, pranayama, ayurveda, bhakti, text, sanskrit, deities, meditation and chanting to name a few. The way in which everything was presented brought all the practices together in a way that blew my mind. I hadn't even realized I learned as much as I had until the final assignment. I don't think I could have received better training anywhere!

Juluka Yoga offers a wonderful TT program. I participated in the Weekday training session which was Tuesdays during the day. The comprehensive instruction on the history of yoga, philosophical extensions and adequate teaching opportunities make this program ideal. Mandy and Soo were wonderful instructors who really took the time to provide us with an in-depth approach to each asana, associated adjustments and modifications. The instruction manual was comprehensive and methodically presented, adequately complimented by additional readings. Mandy and Soo were accessible all throughout training and supported each one of the students strengths and helped us tremendously in those areas that needed work. I personally gained a lot from this program and hope to share my knowledge with others and continue my relationship with Mandy, Soo and Juluka.
