YogaSource is one of the country’s leading teaching schools. Our extensive curriculum choices of thousands of credit hours per year is cutting-edge, diverse and practical. Our faculty includes some the world’s most esteemed teachers in their field. We offer two levels of enrollment: the 200 Hour Program and the 500+ Hour Program. Our 200 Hour Teacher Training is our foundational program and our equivalent of undergraduate study. It offers you the single most in-depth and transformative exploration of your personal yoga practice. Our time-tested processes will develop you from an avid student into a confident teacher over the course of 200 hours. Choose from a Gentle Yoga, Flow Yoga, or Hot Yoga track and spend all 200 of your hours in the specialized environment that best suits you. Our 500+ Hour Teacher Training is our advanced program and our equivalent of graduate study. The diversity and breadth of our advanced curriculum (thousands of hours per year) and the excellence of our faculty offer you an unparalleled opportunity to develop your professional credentials through a process that is perfectly tailored to you. You will find an endless source of inspiration, tangible tools to grow your career as a yoga professional, and a new family that includes some of the most influential teachers of our time.

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

The training prepared me well to be able to create yoga sequences in safe and balanced way as well as providing me with ability to provide intelligent cues based on understanding of human anatomy. The program also gave good introduction to yogic philosophies.

YogaSource Teacher Training Institute provides comprehensive instruction in sequencing, philosophy and anatomy. It is an inclusive and hands-on environment. The teachers are incredibly knowledgeable and very generous with their time. It is a challenging and fulfilling program and upon completion students are well-prepared to teach.

This teacher training has been a huge positive influence on my life. Very informative, the content I learned has helped me develop a much deeper understanding of yoga which has influenced my personal practice considerably. The structure of the class, the content, and the delivery were all spot on. Thanks so much!

The training is extensive, insightful, and valuable: I learned about muscle engagement in poses which transformed my outlook on yoga and personal practice. I learned about the importance of safety, comfort, and inclusion, primarily through modifications, props, and word choices. I learned how to sequence a class from an anatomy lens, including building up to poses and descending. I learned how and when to give technical cues. I learned empowering philosophies and ways to craft a class meshing anatomy and yoga philosophy with your flare. I learned about myself through the training and the importance of others in a yoga setting.
