People often ask us if they should do a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) even if they don’t plan on becoming a yoga teacher. We answer with a big YES! In this course, you’ll deepen and expand your own yoga practice and connection with yourself. Along the way, you might even discover the teacher that is dormant within you or the voice that needs to be heard. This training starts by resetting the foundations of your yoga practice and from there expands the possibilities. You will be expertly guided through a journey that connects the mental, emotional and physical body. This Yoga Alliance-recognized YFTT is designed with the contemporary yoga practitioner who wants to deepen their practice and acquire the tools to become a skillful, heartfelt yoga teacher—a teacher who honours the ancient yogic traditions, who adapts the teaching for the present, all the while creating a better future for their students. Your lead trainer for this course is Laurie Howe, e-RYT, who has trained hundreds of yoga teachers since 2010. Laurie’s compassionate teaching style is guided by the notion that every body and lived experience is unique, therefore every yogi’s practice and journey is unique. This YFTT is limited to eight (8) students to ensure a highly personalized, hands-on, experience adapted to each student’s learning style. Post-training teaching mentorship is offered with the training. The only program prerequisites are that students have a love of yoga, a willingness to connect deeply within themselves and to explore with an open mind and heart!
