Welcome to CrossYoga teacher training.
CrossYoga is a network based in Europe but reaching out to the whole world. We believe that yoga, movement, breath and meditation, are ways to connect with God. We believe that true cleansing, salvation and enlightenment comes through grace.

We love yoga and respect the yoga tradition. We make sure that all students know the traditional way of yoga and we look at the tradition through the lince of faith.

We offer 200hour trainings in 2 modules. Both module 1 and 2 are 100 hour trainings are one week intensive trainings. After module 1 you are able to teach yoga and you get a CrossYoga certificate but to gain your 200 Yoga Alliance training, you'll have to attend both modules.

From January 2021 we also offer online teacher trainings. Take a look here:  https://www.crossyoga.org/online-yoga-training

All are welcome no matter faith, color, body size and yoga experience!!

Why should I choose CrossYoga trainings?

  • Because you'll get a unique, careful and thorough training. We work with a modern perspective of the body, soul and mind and we look back to the east as well as the Church history to gain inspiration and perspectives. We love it when theology comes to live.

During the training you'll learn:

  • *The origin and development of yoga
    *Meditation and various meditation techniques
  • *Yoga anatomy - what does yoga do to the body and mind?
  • *Christian theology and yoga philosophy
  • *Ethics and good practice as a yoga instructor
  • *CrossYoga - the story behind the network and vision for Europe
  • *Going deep into yoga poses (asana) including seated and standing positions, forward bends, side bends, etc. There is a focus on good ‘body posture’ and we'll talk about how you guide others
  • *Different types of yoga e.g. vinyasa, flow, power and yin yoga
  • *Sequencing
  • *The use of props likes blocks, chairs and straps
  • *Yoga as a way to get physical and mental health
  • *To instruct a session with ‘hands-on assistance’
  • *Introduction to children's yoga and senior yoga
  • *To start your own team and development a yoga instructor
  • *Getting out there: Marketing

Reviews

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.
