As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.
Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.
By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

The people from the Pyramid Yogshala are one of the friendliest, most helpful and warmest People, I had ever met in my Life. The Teachers were all great in their individual way, which gave me lots of content and different point of views from Yoga and my personal Life. Im very thankful for the Time in this Yogshala and I couldn't have chosen a better place for my YTT.

The yoga teacher training at Pyramid Yogshala was a truly authentic and life changing experience. This place is run with so much passion and love, providing the space to develop and get to know your true self - this is so much more than just a Yoga Teacher Training. Also the activities on our days off were so much fun and let us dive deeper into the Indian culture. Healthy food and the beautiful location in nature, a walking distance to mother Ganga made it the perfect stay. If you are looking for a place that feels like home, teaching you so much more than just asanas but real life lessons and ancient wisdom shared by their amazing, passionate teachers this is the place to be!

I really enjoyed the placement of the YTT. You can choose between having a private room or living in a dorm. The outsided Area has a relaxing athmosphere and you can easily go down the hill to mother Gamges :). The schedule was good to handle. They help you in case of sickness (f.ex. driving to the hospital,...). I liked the familiar athmosphere. Gentle people and happy dogs :) Can recommend!

So, all the staff and teachers are lovely. Manoj and Rajan are extremely knowledgeable in Yoga. Rajan is especially great at breaking down asanas and showing all the variations/preparations for each asana. Manoj has a striking energy that is necessary for morning Ashtanga Vinyasa. Overall, the curriculum is amazing. My only compliant about this school was the condition of our room. The bathroom didn't seem to be clean when we arrived to our room and I found mold on my pillow. I suspect there was mold in the walls as well because there was visible water damage along the side of my bed. This made it very hard for me to sleep comfortably.. The diet provided to us was very nutritional and delicious. The location of the school is amazing. Just a 5 minute walk into the village and 15 minute ride to Rishikesh. Overall, I learned so much about Yoga at Pyramid Yogshala and really enjoyed my time there.

I completed my teacher training at Pyramid in March this year and I couldn't recommend it more, it was everything I wanted and more. To start with, the place is beautiful. It is on the quieter side of Rishikesh meaning walking into the small town is a lovely experience and not too busy. All of us students would take almost daily trips down to the local shops to be the most delicious energy balls! Just a short boat ride or bridge crossing takes you to the hustle and bustle of all the markets and shops. Pyramid itself is nestled in between loads of trees and greenery and has lots of outdoor social space which encourages everyone to hang out together and is just a lovely place to be. All of the teachers and staff at the yogshala are wonderful, smart, kind and really funny, the teachers each present their subject perfectly. A very special thank you to Yoshita who was so full of knowledge and our ball of sunshine each day. The food is great, so tasty and they mix it up each day. The classes were the perfect balance between challenging but manageable. The excursions were so much fun too, we went for a sunrise hike and were lucky enough to have Holi fall when we were there so we were treated to a night of dancing and performance followed by a paint party the next day. There are also great things around to do, we went white water rafting which was great, I totally recommend, and to the Hare Krishna centre for the Kirtan dance festival which was hours of joy, dancing and connection. The local cafes which are just a short walk from the yogshala are also really good, tasty food at very affordable prices and great if you want a change of scenery or somewhere quiet to look over your notes. The best part of the whole experience though was the people I had the joy of meeting. Everyone was so friendly, kind and open. Over the course of the month, we bonded on such a strong level and were really there for each other emotionally, real deep soul connection. I had such a wonderful experience here and I would reccommend it to anyone, whether you want to teach or just deepen your practice or just try something new and meet lovely people, it will be one of the best things you'll ever do. I can't wait to go back to Rishikesh one day soon to do my 300hr. Thanks for everything everyone at Pyramid :)

It is a beautiful shala in a very nice place close to Rishikesh. They have been interested in our feedback and that made a good impression on me. I enjoyed the lessons of Hatha Yoga and Ashtanga very much. I had problems following the meditation and Philosophy classes due to language difficulties and teaching methodology. Therefore I feel I couldn't make the most out of those classes. Also I would have hoped for more specific training on how to teach, especially on a practical side, like teaching each week a class to some student and giving feedback.
