Tuladhara Yoga Studio is a Registered Yoga School (RYS) with Yoga Alliance, which designates this Yoga Teacher Training program as one which follows Yoga Alliance’s standards. Students who complete a verified training with this school may be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYTs). This life-changing experience encompasses 9 weekends over 4 months. The main requirement for this teacher training is a deep commitment to YOU. Students of all levels are encouraged to use this yoga teacher training to continue a journey of personal exploration and acceptance, and to develop or enhance a current yoga practice and/or teaching. Whether you want to deepen your practice, or become a teacher, Tuladhara’s Yoga Teacher training will be an incredible experience that will be fun, challenging, and transformative! Our part-time 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Program is the best choice if you have commitments to work, family, and other activities during your course of study. Our curriculum offers structure for an ideal learning environment, but also flexibility to meet your busy scheduling needs. There are a lot of programs out there, why choose us? First, we have years of experience in learning and teaching, making our teachers some of the most dynamic knowledgeable teachers in the area. Our teaching staff is diverse with knowledge stemming from many different lineages of Yoga and your training will reflect that diversity. We believe in the power of this process and invest fully in its integrity. It is not just our goal to train you to “teach” a class, but to help you understand the depth of the practice and to be able to tailor it to your future students if that is the path you decide to take. Our studio is bright and welcoming. We honor diversity and pride ourselves in creating an environment that is friendly, focused on service, and centered around community. Our pillars of Energy, Breath, and Balance focus us around providing you with a training experience that is fun, challenging, and whole. You will learn about the principles and history of yoga, anatomy and physiology of yoga, and the mechanics and techniques to be an effective teacher. Weather you are wanting to deepen your connection to your personal practice through continuing education or you want to learn the fundamentals of being a yoga teacher, this training will encourage you grow beyond what you thought possible!

    Training Program held on Jan 21, 2022—May 15, 2022

I would full heartedly recommend to any yoga practitioner wanting to expand their yoga practice to sign up for Tuladhara's YTT program. I absolutely adore the lead instructors, and they have professionals that are licensed in other areas of teaching providing specialized info that you wouldn't normally get at other training schools. Yoga instructors that are in the medical field, trauma informed specialties, sound healing practitioners, Ayurveda, and so much more included within the program. Not all training programs provide students with such an array of reputable professionals and certified knowledge. You can feel confident and assured that your 200 hr training is worth every penny and it will excite you to want to continue further into your new yoga teacher chapter in life! Thank you to all the instructors that lead class each weekend and held the space for me, you will forever be a part of my yoga journey and I will always remember this experience!

I loved my teacher training at Tuladhara. The teachers were passionate about educating us about the history of yoga, the importance of alignment and finding the sweet spot between flexibility and strength, the spiritual side of yoga and the importance of bringing that into your practice and teaching. I was amazed by how much yoga encompasses and the other areas my practice can expand outside of postures, such as Ayurveda, chakras, meditation, Sanskrit, and community. I am so happy I took this journey and am a part of the Tula community. Full Review
