These simple exercises can be taught as an introduction to Pranayama for beginner yoga students, and even seasoned yoga practitioners are often surprised by the effectiveness of this approach. About the Presenter

Rubén has been practicing yoga daily since 1996. For Rubén, yoga is a craft honed over many hours of deliberate practice and informed by study of traditional yoga texts as well as by knowledge of functional anatomy, physiology, and psychology. For over a decade, Rubén has been using the wisdom of the Patanjali's Yoga Sutras as his main guidelines for creating an effective yoga practice for today's practitioners. Having taught yoga full-time for the past 15 years, Rubén's clear and logical approach to teaching emphasizes an integrated yoga practice, focusing on increasing benefits and avoiding injuries.
