About Ellen Schaeffer

Ellen Schaeffer, ERYT-500, C-IAYT 

The teachings of Yoga have informed Ellen’s life for more then 30 years. She has been teaching Yoga for 23+ years and training teachers in Integrative Yoga for  13. In addition to multiple trainings and certifications in Yoga and Yoga for wellness, Ellen has an educational and professional foundation in Psychology and Human Development. These skills combined with her Yoga education have supported Ellen’s Yoga practice where she has a passion for supporting people living with psychological and emotional challenges, including work on an inpatient psychiatric unit. Ellen is on the faculty for the Kripalu School of Integrative Yoga. She founded One Yoga Center in Foster RI in 1996 .
