Arielle has been a dedicated Ashtanga practitioner since 2004 and has over a decade of teaching experience. Holding a degree in Sport Science, extensive professional courses and certifications and following a career training pro athletes, Arielle is well versed in anatomy, biomechanics and movement patterning, which she applies to her teaching daily.
She has been blessed with the opportunity to both study and teach with David Robson, Richard Freeman, Paul Dallaghan and Sri OP Tiwari. Arielle made her first trip to Mysore, India in 2012 to practice with Paramaguru R. Sharath Jois (Mysore, India), since then she has considered him her teacher and returns to study as much as possible.
She is the founder of the Ashtanga Yoga Research Project, who has conducted global research on Ashtanga, gender difference and injury. Having been at the respected E-RYT500 level for over 7 years, and teaching movement professionals for 20, Arielle teaches continuing education courses for yoga teachers, focusing on yoga anatomy, Prenatal yoga, injury prevention and rehab, and adjustment techniques.
Off of the mat, Arielle engages in her deepest practice of all - being a mother.
