Geni Donnelly
Based in Frederick, Maryland, Geni, E-RYT 500®, YACEP® , and co-founder of the nonprofit organization Yogamour. She is a registered Prana Flow® yoga teacher and 500 Hour Advanced Yoga Studies. Further credentials include certification in Trauma-Sensitive Yoga for PTSD founded by David Emerson of the Trauma Center of Justice Resource Institute in Massachusetts, as well as a Yoga for Cancer (Y4C) Teacher Training with Tari Prinster, Trauma-Informed Yoga Training taught by Kala Khouri with Off The Mat Into the World, and Teaching Yoga and Mindfulness in Prison through the Prison Yoga Project at Omega Institute.
Having practiced yoga for decades, Geni has been teaching public yoga classes, and trauma sensitive yoga classes for survivors of trauma and marginalized communities since 2008. She has led yoga volunteer retreats to the US, Puerto Rico and Asia inviting individuals to take their practice off of the mat through participation in volunteer out-reach programs globally and locally. Geni co-leads Yogamour Trauma-Informed Yoga Training Programs for yoga teachers, educators, clinicians and social workers.
