About Angela Wiens

“Of course you’d show up here, right now.”

“What do you mean?” I asked.

“My son committed suicide last night. We are here to pick up CDs for his funeral.” We stood there, connected in silence.

Over the years, I’ve had many experiences like this. Turning up at the right time. Being at the right place at the right time. It has become so much a part of who I am that now I believe coincidences are not coincidences. They have become overwhelmingly noticeable.

I’ve come to a place in my life where I have clarity of my mind and my life is open to all possibilities. I can create and claim the life that I want.

But life wasn’t always like this for me. I used to worry — a lot! Things like being alone, not having enough money, my health. I was very judgemental. I was searching for attention. I spent time in dark places and there was constant fear.

Coincidentally, I ended up in my first yoga class. And then week after week, I went back. I was home. Yes, I was home. Eighteen years later, yoga now allows me to live my life, to feel everything, and to embrace it all.

I’m helping people find freedom in their bodies and have new outlooks in their lives. I help people realize they have a choice and how to truly live in the present moment. I’ve learned so much. I’ve learned to change what needs changing. I’ve learned to face fear with courage. To love and accept all of me. To respect my strong beliefs and create the space for others to have theirs. I’ve learned that to live free is not always easy. The path may be winding with blind corners and incorrect speed limit signs that cause you to skid into the ditch. But you learn to drive in the ditch for as long as you like before cranking the wheel to set your vessel back on the path. So long as it’s your path and not someone else’s.

I’m passionate about helping women (and some very cool men!) develop healthy bodies, clear minds, and joyful spirits. I believe that everyone who crosses our paths is our teacher. The meeting may be brief or life long, but without a doubt, the meeting is for our benefit.

And I believe that you and I meeting here is no coincidence.
