E-RYT500, YACEP, Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist, and Vishoka Meditation Teacher Trainee. With her friendly approach and positive attitude, students initiate or broaden their knowledge, no matter the age, gender, or physical condition; opening up to the possibility of change at all levels. Yira brings joyfull and non-judgmental attitude to her class helping students feel confident and discover the beauty and self-acceptance that yoga, meditation, and  Ayurveda have to offer.

She fell in love with yoga during her first course and has been practicing it for almost 20 years. With the International yoga instructor certification from the Sivananda Yoga Ashram in France and the Himalayan Institute in the US, with additional training from great masters, Yoga has become an essential part of her life. Additionally, she is an active collaborator of Yoga International Español, where you can find her growing online content. 

Yira has always been passionate about physical activities: taekwondo hall of famer, advanced scuba diver, regular golfer, and more. Alongside her family, she lived and taught in several African countries. In 2013, back to her homeland -the Dominican Republic- she established Ananda Yoga Punta Cana. Since then, she has been sharing her experience and passion with locals and foreigners through online and in-person classes, courses, and trainings.
