My favorite type of flow to teach is Meridian Flow. It's a deep flowing practice using the principles of earth-core-flow. The meridians have a specific flow order in which chi passes through, and this is how we carry it out. Through Earth-Core-Meridian-Flow, we operate all of our movement from our deep core line. The heat built here has a strengthening effect on your magnetic field. We also do a little Kriya, breathwork, and some chanting which is intended to do the same. This I derive from my Kundalini Yoga Training. I also like to call this deep-body-buzz yoga! Earth-Core Vinyasa is anatomically designed to create just enough space between each vertebra and joint, as it lengthen everything along the deep core line. Meridian Vinyasa addresses all 12 meridians of the body to bring a flush of chi through. We like to have fun too and we also encourage rest!!! It's a powerhouse flow, with emphasis on growing your own deep inner connection.
You will also find me in a Yin Yoga class guiding us out of the external world and into our beings. Yin Yoga is often spoken of as what could be the "other half of your practice" focusing on more specifically the joints and connective tissue. The effects on the mind are akin to meditation.
When that is not occurring, I enjoy teaching Restorative Yoga and also meditation.
