Kim began her yoga practice studying Anusara, an alignment based Hatha practice and later moved into a love for Vinyasa Flow. Kim completed her Yoga Teacher Training at Namaskar Yoga in Saskatoon and is a 200hr E-RYT with Yoga Alliance, as well as a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP). Kim has a history of instructing with over 20 years of teaching experience between yoga and professional dance.
Kim has enhanced her training by receiving her Kids Yoga Certification and Pre-Natal Yoga Certification. In 2019, Kim completed her Aerial Yoga Teacher Training and has become very passionate about Aerial Yoga and creating an Aerial Yoga Teacher Training program. Kim's background in dance, also inspired her to complete BARRE Above teacher training, offering more variety at OM Yoga Studio.
She teaches Yoga in an environment that is safe and nurturing. She is very grateful to be able to contribute to the community by hosting "Yoga for a Cause" at OM Yoga Studio for different organizations in need.
Yoga Festivals have been a big inspiration in Kim’s Yoga practice, which lead her to create the first OM Yoga Festival in 2019.
Kim also enjoys travelling to different locations to experience other yoga festivals, workshops, classes and getting fresh ideas from other inspirations, such as her children.
