A former corporate marketing executive, Chel turned to yoga to help balance out her days writing speeches and blog posts for Fortune 500 CEOs. Stressful workplace culture left her burned out and seeking more purpose.
She found that purpose as a certified yoga teacher, E-RYT 200, RYT 500 and Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP), Reiki Master and Health and Wellbeing Coach. She has a master’s degree in Communications Management from Syracuse University and infuses her yoga classes and life coaching with management strategy.
Chel has trained all over the world while traveling solo, meditating and trekking solo in Nepal and visiting temples in Bali, and chatting with monks in Burma and Thailand. She’s learned a great deal about compassion by volunteering with orphans and underprivileged kids in Sri Lanka, Peru and Mexico.
She currently lives in Sayulita, Mexico, with her husband, Alejo, from Argentina. She enjoys surfing, hula hooping and plant-based cooking. She loves exploring latin culture and speaking Spanish.
