Born in the Capital city of New Delhi, Rohan relocated to Mumbai at the age of 12, where he graduated in the early millennium. He had developed a passion for acting since childhood and while pursuing his dreams, he landed significant roles in theatre as well as films, simultaneously with studies. After 16 years in the entertainment industry and having adapted a lifestyle inimical to the profession, in 2016 he metamorphosed into a Yoga teacher abandoning all the undesirable and wayward habits in the process.
Little did he know that Yoga would transform him into a more complete, balanced and disciplined individual. He did the advanced Yoga Teachers' Training (YTT) of 900 hours from The Yoga Institute, Mumbai which is the oldest organised school in the world, 200 hours from Mysore Hatha Yoga Kendra, Mysore and 300 hours from SVYASA, Bangalore. He has also practised Ashtanga Vinyasa at Indea Yoga, Mysore. Completed Masters in Yoga from SVYASA in 2021 to dive deep into understanding the subject.
Rohan has worked at Ekah studio in Bloomington, Indiana, USA and with The Yoga Institute at their various branches in Mumbai and managed and coordinated their Goa centre for two years. His expertise is teaching for the YTT programs and specialises in training students to become Yoga teachers; and his favourite subject is Yoga Sutras by Patanjali. He has been teaching regular classes on Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha Yoga, Kriya, Pranayama, Meditation and YTT on My Yoga Teacher for over 2 years now.
