Abby Carter is a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP), which recognizes this person as an expert in one or more of Yoga ALliance’s Educational Categories.
Abby’s interest in mindfulness and meditation was sparked in 2008 when she began teaching yoga. Abby specializes in working with individuals and groups to explore mindfulness as an embodied practice through a trauma sensitive lens.
Abby is a lifelong learner and enjoys furthering her education. She holds a master’s of science in mind-body medicine from Saybrook University, is a registered yoga instructor (E-RYT, 200), and has completed the professional and advanced mind body medicine trainings through the Center for Mind Body Medicine. Abby is a certified Serenity Pause meditation teacher, a corrective exercise specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and is certified in TRX suspension training.
As part of her graduate work in mind-body medicine, Abby wrote and published a self-coaching workbook using mind-body interventions to help people thrive.
