Mohit's passion for yoga began in his hometown of Hoshiarpur, Punjab, where his love for nature and music intertwined with his practice at the age of 14. Inspired by his journey, he delved deeper into yoga, studying Classical Yoga under the esteemed guidance of Swami Vijayanand Ji, an authentic sadhu and his greatest inspiration.
Equipped with this profound wisdom, Mohit embarked on a journey of self-discovery, dedicating himself to the exploration of happiness and service through yoga. His pursuit led him to pursue a Diploma in Yoga from Banaras Hindu University in 2015, followed by a YTTC (500hrs) from Yoga Chakra School in Rishikesh in 2016. Additionally, Mohit acquired a Diploma in Yoga Therapy and became a certified physiotherapist.
For the next year, Mohit traversed the country, engaging in self-practice alongside revered Sadhus and Swamis he encountered during his travels. In 2017, fuelled by his passion to share the transformative power of yoga, Mohit, alongside his father Prem Verma, established a Yoga Center in Dharamkot, Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh.
Today, Mohit is dedicated to sharing his knowledge and wisdom with others, teaching Yoga Teacher Training Courses (200/300 hours) and Drop-Ins in Dharamkot, Himachal Pradesh, from March to October, and in Arambol, Goa, from October to March. He also hosts Yoga Retreats at various locations across the country, inspiring countless individuals on their own yoga journey.
