I am born in this sacred place Nepal with an immense passion for Yoga Meditation, and Mantra. I grew up with Yoga practice as a daily ritual. It was and always has been a way for me to calm down the mind and the body and to reconnect with my true self.
Over the years my dedication grew stronger and I collected books on Yoga and sought knowledge from esteemed Gurus. My inquiring mind took me to Rishikesh, India where I trained further and I taught and managed for many years at an Ashram. It was the devastating 2015 Earthquake brought me back to my home and my family in Nagarkot, Nepal. It was an event that shook my foundations, both literally and metaphorically and redirected my focus to teach in my village. From here, I am grateful to share my knowledge within my community at schools as well as with people from all corners of the world.
My 25 years of practice and experience in teaching has enabled me to teach Yoga for a greater humanitarian cause—the pursuit of happiness and wellbeing. With this understanding, I have embarked on the project to train teachers and students alike at my School, Yoga Pathshala.
