About Linsey Birusingh

After completing two 500 hour yoga programs and specializing in trauma-sensitive yoga, I now coach 500 and 200 hour yoga programs in the U.S. at Power Life and Europe through Lea Loncar. I teach all kinds of yoga, including trauma-sensitive yoga to women with PTSD to histories of sex trafficking. I lead weekly classes Power Life as well as take private clients. Always a student, I am pursuing my 1000 hour RYT yoga certification. My past work in journalism, women’s studies, sexuality and religion gives unique context to my yoga journey and teachings.

Areas of expertise include: mental wellness, women's health, trauma-sensitive yoga, the nervous system, restorative yoga, yin yoga, pranayama, meditation, shoulder dysfunction, myofascial release, anatomy through cadaver study and yoga philosophy.
