About Tannice Goddard

Tannice Goddard is a certified Yoga Teacher trained in the principles of Vanda Scaravelli through Esther Myers’ Yoga Studio in Toronto, where she completed the two-year certified Teacher Training. She has over 6,500 hours of training and is a member of Yoga Alliance. She holds both the E-RYT 500 and YACEP designation.
For the past 22 years she continues to advance her own study of yoga through classes at the studio and extended retreats and workshops. She has taught retreats at the Dharma Centre of Ontario, Rossland and Trail B.C, Bridgewater Retreat, and Northumberland Heights, Ontario and provides weekly classes at different locations in Northumberland County.
Tannice recently moved to Hamilton and she has opened up to teaching yoga classes at Breathing Space Yoga & Wellness Services and is looking for other opportunities as she integrates into a new city. She also enjoys sharing aspects of vinyasa, kundalini, and kripalu yoga keeping her learned principles as the ground from which to explore.
"I am deeply grateful to Esther Myer's yoga studio for opening my eyes, mind and my body to the deeper aspects of yoga. Over my years of teaching I have been able to practice yoga injury-free and I can see how the postures taught, and their emphasis on alignment and care moving into the postures still endure over the long-term." — Tannice
And I want to share one of Vanda's quotes and get her book, "Awakening the Spine,” by Vanda Scaravelli. A gem if you can find it.

To relax is not to collapse, but simply to undo tension.”
Vanda Scaravelli, Awakening the Spine
