Dr. Todd Drybread has been practicing Chiropractic since 2001. In addition to teaching yoga, he currently runs his own practice as well as teaching Anatomy and Physiology at Consumnes River College. As a Chiropractor, Exercise Specialist, Yoga Teacher, and College Professor, Dr. Todd has a great knowledge of proper biomechanics of the body and proper rehabilitation. Dr. Todd uses his knowledge of the body and the expertise gained from his studies to provide an understanding of how the body works in a unique way that easy to understand and is applicable to not only your yoga practice but your everyday activities.
Dr. Todd’s yoga classes are powerful classes that incorporate subtle body cues that bring awareness to your body while allowing freedom to take your practice where you need to go. No two bodies are alike, and no two people will experience the pose in the same way. Dr. Todd will guide you through classes in a way that allows you to find your body and have an experience on your mat, rather than just another class.
Dr. Todd’s Anatomy courses are much the same. Rather than teaching you about “The Body,” he teaches you about “Your Body.” The Why Anatomy of Yoga programs, take the traditional learnings of the body’s anatomy and physiology and not only applies it to your yoga practice but gives you a deeper insight into the why of it all.
Prior to becoming a Chiropractor and Yoga Teacher, Dr. Todd Drybread worked in the health care field for over 13 years as an E.M.T., Nurse, and lifeguard. He continued (and still does continue) to increase his education and later became a QME for the State of California, Personal Trainer, Certified Exercise Specialist and has had over 300hrs of Yoga Teacher Training. He received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life Chiropractic College West and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He began practicing in the Folsom/Sacramento area in January 2001.
