Karen is a RYT 200 HR graduate of YogaLife Institute of NH. Her style of yoga is a blend that she likes to reference as Intuitive Movement. This stems from her background training in Classical Hatha, Iyengar, Yin (30 Hour Certification) & Yoga Nidra.
Karen came to her yoga mat over 20 years ago, as a young athlete to add to her health & fitness routine. In studying yoga philosophy and maintaining her physical practice, she has over time evolved her yoga teaching to encompass yoga as a "whole" - which is the unity of body, mind and spirit.
Along with her background in yoga, Karen has a BSBA in General Business and minored in Public Relations & Humanities . With over 24 years experience working in a corporate environment, she is no stranger to the high-levels of stress on the job. She has personally practiced yoga to reduce stress & anxiety, and is now sharing that experience with others.
You can find Karen in both studio and private teaching environments. Through her teaching, she truly sees yoga as an amazing tool to show others how to stay present and finding that inner calm.
Other certifications to support her practice include: Usui Reiki Level I & II and a member of the International Association of Reiki Professionals.
