Victoria Lynes is the founder and director of Little Soul - Yoga and Mindfulness for Children, based in Ottawa, Canada.
Victoria is a certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher and a Radiant Child Yoga Instructor. Victoria has many years of personal yoga and meditation practice, and has been trained in the Mindful Schools curriculum for teaching secular mindfulness to students K-12. She is also influenced by colleagues such as MindUP, Mindfulness Matters, Inner Kids, Little Flower Yoga, Yoga Kids, Childlight, Yoga in my Schools and NGY Yoga.
Victoria has been studying and teaching Yoga and Mindfulness to children (and adults) of all ages since 2009. Her classes are part of the curriculum for numerous private Montessori Schools in Ottawa and her programs have also been embraced school wide in several public schools in the Ottawa Carleton District School Board. She also delivers Mindfulness presentations for adults, whether it be for parents, teachers or in the corporate sector.
Victoria's fun, engaging and meaningful classes seek to meet kids where they are, and make Yoga and Mindfulness accessible to everyone, from toddlers to teens. Little Soul grew from the desire to fill a gap in the school system - addressing high anxiety and toxic stress amongst kids - and their teachers. It is Victoria's continued passion to share these vital life skills with children of all ages, in all settings.
When not teaching, Victoria spends time writing, reading, creating and enjoying outdoor adventures and travel with her family.
