I took my first Hatha Yoga class in 1976 at the Yoga College of India in Beverly Hills. It didn't take long before I fell in love with yoga. I practiced two and three, one and a half yoga sessions everyday for three years under the tutelage of Bikram. And in 1979 Bikram sent me to Ghosh's College of Physical Education in Kolkata, India to train and learn some of the therapeutic yoga techniques developed by his teacher Bishnu Ghosh. Later that year I got my master's yoga certificate from Ghosh's College.

I came back from India and in late 1980 I was sent to SF to manage and teach one of Bikram's yoga studios. I ran his Yoga studio for five years and in 1985 I opened the SF Yoga Studio. During my tenure at the SFYS, I developed a school program for the Unified School District in the Bay Area which was featured in several publications. I was also featured in the book title "Yoga" published by the Yoga Journal and in the Eighty-four Asanas in Yoga, a Survey of Traditions written by Gudrum Buhnemann.

In 2004 I moved to Mexico and established the Yogic Physical Culture and run yoga workshops. In 2017 I moved to Malaga, Spain where I resided with my wife. During my long yoga career I have introduced different exercise principles, including the anatomical planes to make the practice of Hatha Yoga safer and more sustainable. I can proudly say that after 45 years of intense practice I never had a bad injury in yoga.

I have developed three yoga systems: Core26+ for Beginners, Core40 for Intermediate and Core84 for Advanced students. I offer six day yoga retreats in Malaga, in a monastery that is still run by nuns. I instruct yoga techniques and principles to safely practice, teach and modify the postures when ever necessary for students with special needs. I also teach online yoga classes via Zoom. The beginners class is an hour long and the intermediate classes an hour and a half long. My TT programs are based on Core 26+, this program is a 200 hour program and Core40, this is a 300 hour program. The Teacher Trainings include: one retreat in Malaga (50 hours), 100 online classes and posture clinics, anatomy and physiology classes, an internship based on 25 classes, a CPR program, and a thesis.
