To me, yoga is an essential inquiry into the aspects of being. My teaching offers physical alignment, breath awareness, open mindedness of the possibilities and the challenges in every moment. Using the safety and support of the body in asana practice, I explore the subtleties of breath, cultivate levels of awareness, and illuminate that which can liberate us from self-inflicted limitations and patterns. Our innate intelligence and gifts come forth through yoga as a form of meditation in motion. Discovering yoga in my late 40s, I found my path opened before me. I will continue to offer what I am learning as long as I can keep my own inquiry alive and vibrant. I have special training to work safely with those who live with frailty or chronic conditions, such as arthritis and cancer. I truly find that any body can benefit from the practice and it is my pleasure to make the practice accessible.
