Catherine Dupont is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School (RYS).
Specializing in private classes for students who wish to experience the therapeutic benefits of yoga for physical or emotional ailments.
Catherine's experience with yoga spans over ten years. With close to 2000 hours of teaching experience with various audiences, Catherine brings a global approach to her teaching style while maintaining the ability to engage more experienced practitioners. Having studied under many different teachers from all over Canada, the US, Central America and India, she incorporates a lot of variety in her classes, making sure everyone has a great experience. Her classes offer a balanced flow of postures and breathing designed to release tensions, renew vital energies and restore a sense of well-being while improving posture, strength, flexibility and concentration.
Since she began her teaching career, Catherine has developed specialized yoga programs resulting from pursuing her own interests as well as by requests from her students. When Catherine is not practicing or teaching yoga she enjoys spending time recreating in nature; cycling, hiking, skiing and snowboarding. She also enjoys cooking, spending time with friends and pondering the next exciting event in life.
