Heather Sage is certified in Integrative Hatha Yoga by the Samyoga Institute, and teaches movement and awareness from this perspective, as well as incorporating Vinyasa, Yin, and Restorative. Practices are always well rounded, challenging students to find their edge while respecting their bodies and most classes are heart-centered, philosophy based and introspective in nature.
Heather found yoga in 1998, became certified to teach in 2007 and is accredited by the National Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 200. Humbled and grateful for her journey thus far, she is forever a student. Since her 200 hour training with Janice George at the Center for Wholeness, she's completed certifications in Yoga Anatomy, Yin, Science of the Private Lesson, Prenatal, Pranayama, Thai Yoga Massage, Yoga for Athletes and EmbodiYoga.
Heather teaches as an Adjunct Faculty Member at Ohio University, as well as small group and private classes locally. She also writes avidly about the by-products of a longstanding yoga practice ... living a yogic lifestyle, various thoughts on embodiment, and often about the mind-body connection at soulfabric.org. Her first e-book about the Yoga Sutras, Yoga Prayers, is available for free download.
