Eva Hamilton is a certified & experienced Yoga Teacher and Yoga Continuing Education Provider. Eva has over eleven years of international teaching experience over 1000 hours of formal training in yoga, anatomy, religion & philosophy, massage, and myofascial release.
Eva primarily offers yoga education courses to support yoga teachers to continue to build their credentials. She specializes in offering a Yin Yoga & Myofascial Release Yoga Teacher Training, as well as specific yoga workshops, including Yoga for Anxiety and Yoga with the Lunar Phases.
Eva has published three ebooks, including a Guide to Yin Yoga, a Guide to Lunar Yoga and a Home Practice Guide.
Passionate about yoga since youth, Eva has taught yoga professionally since she turned seventeen. In the many years since, she has taught classes, workshops, trainings and retreats in Canada, Scotland, France, Mexico, Thailand, Spain, Italy and Portugal.
Eva has studied with many prominent teachers including Judith Hanson Lasater, Bo Forbes, Yogrishi Vishvketu, Susi Hatley, Todd Lavictoire & many more. Her background includes hatha yoga, yoga, yin yoga, restorative yoga, yoga tune up®, prenatal yoga, classical kundalini, raja, back care yoga, chair yoga, anatomy, Thai yoga massage and yogic lifestyle coaching.
Eva loves the opportunity to draw on her religious studies degree from Queen's University to unpack yoga philosophy in an accessible & enjoyable way.
Eva is also a certified Thai Yoga Massage Practitioner & loves connecting with clients through the language of touch. She loves to travel & has facilitated two international retreats in Mexico & France.
Having previously owned a studio in Canada, Eva is grateful that teaching & studying yoga has brought her around the world to share her passion. Having just taught a year full-time in Edinburgh, Scotland, Eva is now enjoying traveling & training yoga teachers. Learn more about her at www.eva.yoga
