Tiana (Amari) started practicing yoga from a young age following the spiritual teachings of Sri Swami Satchidananda . She has also spent time in Mysore practicing at the source with the late Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and Sharath Jois.
In 2005, she received her TT and it was during this time that she was introduced to Sri O. P. Tiwari, a pranayama master and founder of the Kaivalyadhama Institute India. She has taken advanced training with Tiwariji in pranayama and the study of ancient texts of Hatha yoga.
She has taught all over the world and she continues to travel and teach but remains based in Portugal where she runs her retreat and wellness centre at” Martinheiras" www.martinheiras.com and yogaretreatsinportugal.com
She teaches Mysore, Ashtanga Led Classes, Pre - Natal Classes, Yoga for Kids. She also teaches Pranayama as taught by Sri O.P Tiwari-ji and teaches those with special needs & Cancer. She is AUTHORIZED to teach by KPJAYI and she is also an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher E-RYT 500 and YACEP with Yoga Alliance International.
