Susie Dreiling is an E-500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with over 3,000 hours teaching experience & an YACEP with Yoga Alliance. She holds a Level 1 Relax and Renew Instructor certification in restorative yoga from Judith Hanson Lasater, Ayurvedic Yoga Immersion Certification, Warriors at Ease Teacher (WAET) Level 2 Certification, Yin Yoga Certification and is a certified iRest Level 1 Teacher. With over 23 years federal law enforcement experience, Susie had the vision for and created specialized yoga curriculum specifically directed toward first responders. Additionally, her expertise as an Advanced Instructor (having certified in excess of 1,250 state/local/federal/international law enforcement officers as instructors) helped her establish and write lesson plans for use during yoga teacher training in the area(s) of: yoga instructor standards, teacher evaluation, principles of adult learning and perception. She has authored a Restorative Yoga Teacher Manual as well as Instructional System Design curriculum specifically directed toward yoga teachers in the area(s) of: professional conduct, ethics, legal issues/liability, creating effective learning environments, instructional evaluation and student perception and has taught both at multiple RYT 300 hour certification programs throughout the U.S. Currently Susie founded 1811 Yoga and through the company teaches local & online classes, as well as traveling around the country several times a month providing yoga and iRest meditation training to first responders, including: federal/state/local LE, fire rescue, military personnel from all branches of service, and govermental agencies.
