Silver brings almost twenty years of experience teaching yoga to her role as Yoga Therapist at New Life. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management and Marketing in 2000 and began teaching yoga in 2003. She has been training yoga teachers since 2006 and hosting international yoga retreats since 2009. 

Silver is a dedicated teacher and confidant to all who look to her for support, direction, and guidance. She empowers others to live and work with courage, integrity, and respect. She encourages holding clear, loving boundaries while remaining open-minded and open-hearted to life as it gracefully unfolds.

It brings Silver great joy when her therapeutic work as yoga teacher uplifts her students and empowers them to discover their full potential and engage in life more joyfully. She lovingly challenges her students to dive deeper for radical self-discovery. She feels that when we tap into our gifts, we live a life with more meaning and passion.

In her work, Silver infuses philosophy, life lessons, humour, stories, and lightheartedness. She also uses energy work, massage, and therapeutic body work to help her students and clients find relief from pain and discomfort.

At New Life Portugal, Silver is delighted to share her passion and purpose as Yoga Teacher and Body/Energy Worker with all those who long to restore, renew, and retreat together in community. As a constant seeker and a dedicated student of life, she is excited for the next chapter of her life together with her love and life partner/husband, Jose.

One of the first Ashaya Teacher Trainers, Silver helped develop, assist, and co-teach workshops, training courses, and conferences with founder Todd Norian. She is also the founder and former owner of Kula Heart Yoga and Wellness Centre.

In addition to being a Yoga Teacher, Silver is a writer, traveller, and explorer of diverse cultures all over the world. She enjoys teaching private lessons, public classes, workshops, retreats, conferences, and training courses in different locations around the world. Her vision is to connect and build community while sharing her love of yoga, meditation, and healing.

Silver is a proud mother of 3 amazing adult sons who are living their lives with compassion, courage and passion.
