Sharon St James completed
- 500 hour Advanced Teacher of Yoga Training Certification Program in 2016,
- 200 hour Kripalu Yoga Teacher Training in 2001,
- 40 hours Ashtanga Vinyasa Asana Teacher Training in 2003,
- 40 hours Mat-Pilates & Functional Movement certifications in 2003.
- Additionally, Sharon has taken numerous courses over the years in Intuitional Training, Personal Power Through Awareness, Chakra Training both Vedic and Modern, participated in weekend-long Chanting sessions, Silent Meditation retreat, is a Light Body Graduate, and a Reiki Master.
- Sharon is an experienced teacher having taught classes & retreats in a wide variety of settings, from church basements, local firehall, schools, 5 Star Resort, yoga studios, home studios, on the beach, busy gymnasiums, a university, private homes and summer cottages for a total of 3,400 hours.
- . In 2010, she wrote a training manual "Sequences" based on the experiences of her 30 year meditation practice and the personal exploration of many styles and approaches. She taught "Meditation Tools for a Busy Life" at the University of Toronto in 2005. Currently she offers private meditation training for individuals and groups.
- Since 2012, Sharon has been offering Awakening of Spirit Yoga Teacher Training in Costa Rica, Guatemala and Canada.
