Hi, my name is Sara Bigatti and I’m a Registered Yoga Teacher - RYT 200- with Yoga Alliance.
I studied and took my diploma at the school ‘Yoga by The Way’ (http://www.yogabytheway.com/), course held by Ellen de Jonge - E-RYT200- in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
The main style taught in the school is Vinyasa and, even if I’ve been practicing many styles (Hatha,Integral, Kundalini, Ashtanga), that’s the one I specialized with and the one I’m still teaching.
For my personal practice I love to try and explore many different Yoga styles, but the one I’m focusing at the moment is Ashtanga.
In 2013 I’ve set up a project for teaching Vinyasa Yoga in Italian and I’ve named this project ‘La Scimmia Yoga’ (The Yoga Monkey).
La Scimmia Yoga provides many resources to Italian-speaking Yoga students.

The core of the project is a YouTube channel that offers an ever-growing number of videos, that cover both general training and specific topics of anatomy, postures, breathing practices etc.
Short videos are uploaded weekly as integration for the everyday practice.

Since June a 6-classes Video Course for beginners is available for sale on the site.
The course is offered as a digital download content, and has been also featured on the Italian edition of ‘Yoga Journal’.

In the blog, which I constantly updated with new posts, I talk and discuss about asanas, philosophy, yoga anatomy and many other yoga-related topics.
