Hi! I am Anina and I did my 200h yoga teacher training in April 2024 in beautiful Rishikesh, India. I‘ve practiced yoga for the past few years on and off. I‘ve suffered a lot of injuries running, playing rugby or just by being clumsy and some of those are with me everyday. Me trying to improve my physical health was the initial start of my yoga journey - practicing asanas. I‘ve tried my fair share of meditation and have always found deep breathing to bring instant relaxation. I love learning new things so it was very easy for me to decide what I want to learn next: yoga! I was very interested in the different aspects of yoga and the science or reasons behind the poses and sequences. To be honest, I‘ve had some doubts about becoming a teacher, because a lot of asanas still feel impossible to me and I wasn’t able to sit completely still in meditation for more than 10 minutes. But this is exactly why I‘ve decided to do it anyways - I want yogis to know, that you don‘t have to be super-flexible to practice asanas, that it‘s natural for our minds to wander and that your practice doesn‘t have to look like anyone else's. There is more to yoga than just asanas and your practice should fit your lifestyle. I welcome everyone to be my students and I hope I can make you feel comfortable, confident and maybe give you some guidance in finding or deepening your own individual practice.
