I'm a circus artist from Italy and I work performing and teaching my main disciplines (aerial straps, rope and silks). I have a background in ballet and contemporary dance, and I started practicing yoga in 2011 in Istanbul. I've been traveling and living in many different places since I was a kid, and I still move quite a lot thanks to my job (and for pleasure!). Yoga is for me a perfect tool of balance, something that, over and over, keeps centering and giving perspective to life happening. My favourite style for personal practice is Vinyasa Flow, but I love to practice other style, such as Hata or Yin, when I feel they're a better choice for me in the moment.
I integrate yoga very often in my aerial classes, since I believe it's deeply beneficial for athletes in general, and specifically for circus artists. I've started to develop specific yoga classes for aerialists (example: in preparation of dynamic work) and I would love to keep working towards these connections with specific sets of skills.
I'm also available for general well-being oriented classes, and I'm currently taking a course in Prenatal Yoga.
